Did you hear? Two men invented gloves (much like dog poop bags) that allows us menstruators to extract menstrual products without getting our hands dirty, because period blood is dirty, like dog poop.
Wow, I feel liberated to know that there are men out there with my best interest, and my cleanliness at the forefront of their brains. What a genius product that they concocted. They should pat themselves on the back, because if I buy this product, I no longer need to touch the icky, blood soaked menstrual products that I put up my dirty vagina. This totally justifies my need to feel the shame and grossness about my period that I do…
HOW DOES ANYONE think this is a good idea?

Sarcasm aside, I hate this product. I hate the fact that someone out there thought it was a good idea, and that any uterus bearing person would purchase such a thing.
Here are the three main reasons I hate this product:
#1 reason I hate this product- I use poop bags, much like this glove to pick up my dogs poop. That poop is gross. It’s acidified meat product that has gone through my dogs body and out her butt hole. My period blood is the uterine lining and blood that I shed. It’s not dirty, nor full of diseases and is easily washed off with soap and water. The fact that there is a product out there implies that menstruation is dirty.
#2 Reason I hate this product- we don’t need more things contributing to environmental waste! We also don’t need more things to spend our money on.
#3 How the heck did they get funding? Who thought this was a good idea? Isn’t there another, more clever, useful and less insulting product out there to endorse?
The reasons like this product:
#1 if They were cheaper, they could market this product as pink glove shaped poop bags for the dog poop. Fun
#2 If ever I post something, or come up with a dumb idea, I can always think back to this idea and know that whatever I post or do is not as dumb as this product is
#3 People are talking about periods and how atrocious this product is. The internet is pissed off (rightfully so) about this product, and that’s creating some awesome conversations.
Apparently this company got brutally attacked on Instagram and they apologized.
